But I thought cops were here to protect us/Missing white woman syndrome
For those of you who don’t know, we’ve dealt with another missing person’s case. This young woman, Jessie Davis had been missing for over a week before turning up dead. Sad part is that she was 9 months pregnant, and all signs point to her unborn’s father, a BLACK COP being the killer. The dirty son of a bitch was ‘pretending’ to look for her the whole time. Of course as many whites and bougouise African Americans/Hispanics will tell you, police officers are next to gods and can do no wrong. Fortunately since this guy’s black and because of the heinousness of his actions, no one is gonna be stupid enough to defend him this time. My heart goes out to the victim and her family.
However, something else is going on about this that bothers me, and it’s the same thing that irks me every time a woman goes missing. Less than a week before Jessie’s disappearance’s, two men, James Carter of Toledo and Gregory Earl Zentgraf of Flat Rock Michigan went missing in two separate incidents in Lake Erie. They were both found dead soon after. However, unless you read the Toledo Blade, this is probably the first time you’ve heard about these two, whereas Jessie has been all over nearly every major news network. It’s not the time it’s happened, and it won’t be the last time. You can go to any news website and find about Lori Hacking, Laci Peterson, and Natalie Holloway. But what about Marion Fye, Phylicia Moore, Stepha Henry, Joe Shadden, or Ulio West? Why do they don’t warrant as much media coverage?
Is it racism or sexism? Why does it seem like when white females go missing, the media coverage is so sensationalized, but when non-white females or men go missing, they barely make any coverage at all? Most media sites will tell you that they don’t have the time and resources to devote to every missing person. If this is the case, then why not dedicate as much coverage to as many missing people as possible, instead of just one or two people of the same demographic?
This is a tragedy no less. There is no worse nightmare for any family to go through than a missing relative, which is why we need to devote as much attention to every missing person, regardless or race, gender, age, social status, looks, etc.

Doing good in the hood: TI schools West Philly Youth.
Sohh.com reports that TI recently spoke on the importance of staying in school at Harambee Charter School in West Philadelphia.
“Ain’t nothing lame, ain’t nothing punkish about being smart. Ain’t nothing punkish about being 25, 26, 28 and never had a run in with the law,” he stressed. “That don’t make you a punk man. That makes you a winner.”
That’s some words we all should live be, especially me. I had the luck of being raised by a decent family and not having to deal with the law. Now I’m getting to graduate school in a few months. For a 26 year old black male, that’s definently something. Oh BTW, buy his new album when it drops next month, because I have no doubt it will be bumping.
Awwww, Poor Paris! Now shut the fuck up and do your time, you crying little bitch!
For those of you who don’t follow the news (including me, but seeing something like this puts a smile on my face and makes me pay attention), hotel heiress and dumb bitch extraordinaries Paris Hilton was sentenced to 45 days in jail for reckless driving. 3 days in, she was released to house arrest, but last Friday a judge ordered her back in jail. As seen here, she isn’t taking it very well.
I’d never thought I’d see the day when one of the ‘elite’ is forced to pay their dues. Sure, it’s not like Paris is a politician or CEO, but seeing things like this gives me hope for this world. As for her, she needs to stop being such a crying little bitch. She broke the law, plain and simple. For reckless driving too? She could have killed someone, so she should be thankful she got off with only 45 days. There are people doing 45 months and 45 years right now who are being more of a woman/man than she is. There are people behind bars who have accepted the fact that they are going to spend the rest of their life in jail who are taking this better than her. There are people who have been sentenced to death who aren’t bitching up the way she is.
Like the old saying goes, if you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime.
